We are a 100+ year wholesaler, importer, and distributor of over 200 varieties of specialty produce focused on offering the highest quality products while providing exceptional customer service. Located in the Philadelphia Wholesale Produce Market, we offer services to customers within most of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast including Philadelphia, New York, and DC metro regions. You would oversee a team of 10-12 sales staff, mainly inside sales. This is an onsite position reporting to their Philadelphia office. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Wholesale Produce Sales Manager to lead and support our sales teams in setting and achieving revenue and profitability targets to grow our business. You should have a proven track record of successfully managing sales professionals, achieving sales targets, and building lasting customer relationships. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, forecasting sales projections, and collaborating with other departments to drive revenue growth. The Sales Manager leads and manages the performance of the sales teams and is accountable for designing and implementing strategies and activities to improve product movement and programs and to achieve customer objectives. You will also schedule and lead sales meetings, create business plans, deliver regular staff reviews, and report progress to management. What’s in it for you:
