Parts Department - Sales Assistant - Beloit, Wisconsin

We’re hiring a Parts Department Member – Sales Assistant to join our team in Beloit, WI (about 17 miles north of Rockford, IL).  As a parts department member, you must be outgoing, friendly, and polite – and be able to interact well with customers and employees.  Has the ability to learn and retain information, can successfully perform basic tasks in parts department.

Essential Job Functions:

• Able to perform over the counter sales
• Able to correctly enter service orders
• Able to look up invoices, vendors and inventory
• Able to put together sprinkler packages from sprinkler charts
• Able to take phone calls from customers and give them the information they ask for
• Able to box up parts for shipment and use Speed or UPS software

Non-Essential Job Functions:

• Willing to help with other jobs as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
• Has basic computer & Microsoft Office skills
• Good work ethic
• Customer Service skills
• Must be organized and able to multi-task
• Willingness to learn
• Basic tool knowledge
• Perform all other duties as assigned
• Must be able to lift 50lbs

Work Schedules/Hours:

• Work an average of 50 hours per week. More hours in Spring and Summer vs. Fall and Winter.
