We are hiring fora Director of Operations at the Harrisonburg, Virginia location. This location is the packaging facility of fresh products with 6 lines running 2 shifts, 7 days a week. You will directly manage a Production Manager and two Supervisors. This role will be responsible for the overall performance and efficiency of the facility, process improvement projects, inventory, and cost reduction plans. This role will be the leader of implementing processes, SOPs, and KPIs. You will work cross-functionally with quality, maintenance, and sanitation teams. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Ensure that all departments are working together smoothly and effectively
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention
  • Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
  • Proven experience in a senior operations role
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
