Planters Cotton Oil Mill, Inc. Company Profile

In 1977 a group of ginners purchased a cottonseed oil crushing facility located in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. This plant was organized as a cooperative under the name of Planters Cotton Oil Mill, Inc. Since that time Planters has continued to diversify its markets by producing whole cottonseed, cottonseed hulls in bulk, pelletized, sacked, and in meal and oil form. By-products are used for food production, biodiesel, livestock feed, and the oil industry domestically and internationally. Today, we are owned by 20-plus gins that supply cotton for production.
